Color Printer Ink Information
Six-color process printing is a method of color printing that involves addition of orange and green colors to the traditional CMYK color scheme, and enables more vibrant color combinations. However, a series of steps are involved in the color printing process that generates a quality color reproduction. Color separation is the most primary step which is done with the help of digital imaging technology, wherein the original artwork is digitally scanned and separated into red, green and blue components. Digital imaging technology has been very significant in faster and quality color separation. The technique has eliminated the drawbacks of the traditional method, which was to photograph the image three times, and then a different filter was used for each color. Latest color printer ink and dyes has opened a whole new world when it comes to printing technology.
After separation, the images are inverted, and then by black separation an image with better contrast and shadow is reproduced. The final step is screening of the image in required colors. The Stochastic screening method is a latest approach in this direction, which greatly facilitates in eliminating the dots that are generated by the traditional half-tones screening processes.
Color printing can be reproduced with the help of various printing techniques such as offset lithography, screen-printing, digital printing, flexography and gravure. Offset lithography is done mostly by all printers and is considered one of the main methods. On the other hand, screen-printing is the most popular technique and is useful in a variety of printing operations. The technique is mainly useful for printing flat surfaces and can print on anything from paper to metal. Digital printing is another process that is becoming very popular these days and delivers seamless color prints simply by using color ink. All that's needed is to buy printer ink that isn't of inferior quality because that will result in blotchy prints that look faded, and aren't able to reproduce the shade you decided on to start with.

A DVD label printer is used to print labels directly onto the user's DVD. These printers automatically rotate to print on four areas of the disc. Personal DVDs having labels of professional quality can be created quickly and efficiently using these printers that simply require you to buy superior quality printer ink. Users can either use preset labeling formats or create new ones themselves. In a preset labeling format, users can label their DVDs as music DVDs, data DVDs, or digital image DVDs. For this, title lists can be imported from DVD Text or Windows Media Player. File names and folder names can be imported from a PC. No specific input is required from the user's side.
It is, however, different in the case of customized labeling. In this type of labeling, users can print text or pictures directly onto a DVD disc to get a specialized looking finish. They can personalize their DVDs according to their likes and dislikes. Users can also format their own design and use their own drawings or photos to create a unique label, using a color printer ink of their choice.
